Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy explains how Nexsage ("Nexsage", "we", "us") handles information, including data we obtain from Google APIs through our internal application, Nexsage Ads Toolkit (the "App"). The App is described on our home page.
1. Google user data we access
When a Nexsage team member signs in with their Google account and authorises the App, the App requests the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords (Google Ads API). Through it the App can access:
- Google Ads account structure and settings: accounts, campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets and bidding settings.
- Performance data: impressions, clicks, cost, conversions and search terms.
- The authorised user's OAuth tokens, which allow the App to keep working without signing in each time.
The App does not access Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google service, and does not collect personal data about the end users who see our clients' ads.
2. How we use Google user data
We use this data only to provide advertising services to the client who owns the Google Ads account: preparing reports and analysis, and, when the client has approved a change, managing the account. Changes are previewed, confirmed by a Nexsage team member and logged.
We do not use Google user data for advertising to unrelated audiences, to build user profiles, for credit or lending decisions, or for any purpose unrelated to the client's account.
3. Limited Use
Nexsage's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the App.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties, except as needed to provide the service to the client, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or sale with notice to affected users.
- We do not sell Google user data.
- No human at Nexsage reads Google user data unless the client has authorised it for the engagement, it is necessary for security or support, or it is required by law. Staff access is limited to the client's own account data.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
4. Storage and security
Google user data and OAuth tokens are stored on devices controlled by Nexsage, in files with restricted permissions. Credentials are never published, shared or placed in source control. Reports are exported to files on those devices and shared only with the client they concern.
5. Sharing
We share a client's Google Ads data only with that client and with Nexsage team members working on that client's account. We use analysis software, including AI assistants, to help our team review reports. These tools process data only to produce the requested analysis for us, and Google user data is not used to train models.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep Google user data only as long as needed for the client engagement. Exported reports and cached account data are deleted within 90 days after the engagement ends, or sooner on request. OAuth tokens are deleted when access is revoked or the team member leaves Nexsage.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can revoke the App's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- You can ask us to show, correct or delete the data we hold about you or your accounts by emailing us.

If you contact us, we keep your message and contact details to reply and to manage our relationship with you. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.
